Application

  1. As prior primer and bonding primer on non-absorbing and smooth surfaces such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo, glazed bricks, concrete, etc...
  2. As bonding primer for P.T.B.-EGALISER-EN (PLUS) in case of layer on layer floor levelling application.
P.T.B.-PRIMER BL is applied prior to application of cement based adhesives, floor- and wall levelling mortars.

Product properties

  • Quick-drying bonding primer.
  • Is a bonding bridge on smooth and dense surfaces.
  • Solvent free and low odour primer.
  • Low spattering when applied.
  • Reduces the porosity, protects cement based adhesives and levelling-mortars from too rapid dehydration and prevents formation of cracks caused by shrinkage. Extends the open time of adhesive and improves the adhesion of levelling compounds and adhesives.
  • Control colour light blue. After the film-formation of P.T.B.-PRIMER BL a colour change occurs. The primer is more transparent whereupon further work can start.
