P.T.B. - EGALCOL is a dry, ready-to-use mortar composition of refined and sieved sand, cement, and high-grade additives that is made up only with water and produces a placing and levelling mortar.P.T.B. - EGALCOL is used in the conventional way for all types of tile work, both indoors and outdoors: for the positioning of tiles in a mortar bed, on a freshly settled bed of sand, or on a hardened floor substrate. This light, greasy mortar can be used for positioning wall tiles in a mortar bed and for levelling out wall surfaces prior tiling them. For the levelling out of walls, also consider the use of our products PUTZUNA® BA-W and PUTZUNA® HY. Aside from a very malleable workability and high adhesive resistance, P.T.B.-EGALCOL further possesses the property, once mixed with water, it keeps the mortar homogeneous without bleeding (no water forms on top of the mortar).
P.T.B. - EGALCOL white is especially suitable for seating natural stone such as marble, French white stone,... To tile non-absorbin materials, one has to mix P.T.B.-EGALCOL with a solution of 1 part of COMPAKTUNA® and 3 parts of water.
